CPW Advanced Performance (Storytelling) – October 11-13, 2024

In the CPW Advanced Performance (Storytelling) Workshop, you’ll be immersed in intensive hands-on and activity-based materials, where participants will create and do. Along the way, we focus on what makes each of your individual characters unique, how to build buy-in from audiences, create character depth, and how to use ALL of this to enthrall your audience. Throughout, we engage in performing exercises, with a bit of vocal, improv, and duo exercises, working in both small and large groups so participants can try out new skills in a supportive environment.

  • Additional Notes
    • Tuition includes lunch on both Saturday and Sunday
    • Travel, lodging, and extra activities are not included in the registration.
    • CPW Training Decks will be available for purchase at the workshop at a discount (and are not included in registration). Purchase of decks is optional.

Schedule for the Weekend

  • Fridays
    • Hotel Check-in for those who are traveling
    • 4:30-6:30 PM – Dinner as a group (optional, pay out of pocket) at Dragon Hibachi and Sushi Buffet, 1858 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster PA 17601
    • 6:30-9:30 PM – Meet and Greet at the Hotel
  • Saturdays
    • Breakfast / Hotel – on your own
    • 7:30 AM – Doors to the classroom open, social meet and greet
    • 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon – Day One Morning Training
    • 12:00-1:00 PM – Lunch Break (Sandwiches and Salad, included in tuition)
    • 1:00-5:00 PM – Day One Afternoon Training
    • 6:00 PM – Dinner at Shady Maple Smorgasbord, 129 Toddy Dr., East Earl, PA 17519 (optional, pay out of pocket)
    • 8:30-10 PM – Social in Hotel Lounge (optional)
  • Sundays
    • Breakfast / Hotel – on your own
    • 8:15 AM – Doors to the classroom open
    • 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon – Day Two Morning Training
    • 12:00-1:00 PM – Lunch Break (Pizza and Salad, included in tuition)
    • 1:00-5:00 PM – Day Two Afternoon Training (with Graduation Photos at the end)
